A zebra invited itself into traffic jams returning from vacation on Friday August 26, 2022. At the Biriatou tollbooth, on the A64 in the Basque Country, the animal escaped from its owner’s vehicle to stretch its legs between cars.

Half an hour chase

Toll security officers took half an hour to catch the animal, with the help of its owner, reports South West . The zebra was returning from Spain, where it had been loaned to a zoo.
