Builder. A dog found hanging from a fence: an open investigation

The facts date back to August 26 in the early evening and sparked outrage on social networks.

Rue du Port, in the southern industrial zone of Mâcon, a dog was discovered hanging from a fence. The animal was hooked up on its leash, with its hind legs a few centimeters off the ground. The voluntary nature of the gesture is hardly in doubt.

At the time of its discovery, the death of the animal dates back to one or two days.

An investigation has been opened, we say on the side of the Mâcon police station.

Five years in prison and a €75,000 fine

The fact, publicly or not, of seriously abusing or committing an act of cruelty towards a domestic animal, or tamed, or held in captivity, resulting in its death, exposes to a penalty of five years’ imprisonment and 75 €000 fine.
