3Commasa startup that offers a full suite of trading bots and strategies for the cryptojust completed a $37 million seed round directed by Jump Capital and Alameda Research.
Founded in 2017 in Tallin, 3Commas markets manual and automated trading strategies – managed by trading bots based on machine learning – for investors in cryptocurrencies.
On Thursday, the Estonian company announced that it had collected $37 million as part of a series B financing round led by the venture capital firm of Sam Bankman Fried, Alameda Researchthe VCs Target Global and Jump Capital as well as Dmitry Tokarevthe founder of the Copper daycare service.
3Commas expands access to complex crypto trading strategies with powerful trading robots. Through this fundraising, our investors have given us overwhelming confidence,” said Yuriy Sorokin, the young shoot’s boss, in a press release.
Thanks to the newly raised fund, 3Commas plans to develop its product line and hire new talent, in particular to set up a unit that will focus on creating solutions for decentralized finance (DeFi).
The transaction follows a previous fundraising of $3 million (Series A) closed by 3Commas in November 2020.
