The announcement was made Monday, April 11, by Parag Agrawal, in a message to Twitter staff. “Elon Musk has decided not to join our board of directors”tweeted the successor to Jack Dorsay, who created, in 2006, the platform with 436 million monthly active users. “Elon’s arrival on the board was to become officially effective on April 9, but Elon made it known that same morning that he was no longer joining the board. (…) I believe it is for the better”he added.
