See my news

This Monday, August 22, 2022, a prospecting enthusiast, equipped a metal detector, spends his afternoon in the Bois de la Seilleraye in Carquefou, near Nantes (Loire-Atlantique). And this treasure hunter is going to make an unusual discovery… In the middle of the forest, 2800 ammunition and several kilos of foodstuffs, buried in the ground, are thus found by the police called on the spot immediately.
A survivalist’s cache?
The gendarmes think they have discovered a survivalist’s hideout, ie to a person who is preparing for a disaster or the end of the world. “In the United States, survivalists have bunkers to protect themselves from tornadoes. In France, they bury their provisions in the forest,” a policeman told Nantes news.

An “uncommon” discovery according to a source at the gendarmerie who “has no memory” of such a case in the department. At present “nothing can determine” who owns this cache.

The foodstuffs found buried in the Bois de la Seilleraye are all expired and have been destroyed.
