All the pupils of this town in the Rhône-Alpes region will therefore be able to taste a standard menu made up of legumes, cereals, eggs and cheese. However, the town hall will not impose the vegetarian menu on all students since an option with meat or fish will also be offered to parents, free of charge. They will have to choose the menu for their children at the start of the school year.

This measure is part of a certain continuity in the quest for better eating for the City of Grenoble, which already offered between 1.5 and 2 vegetarian meals per week.
