The video posted by French rapper Timal caused a wave of indignation on social networks. A complaint has been filed by the 30 Million Friends Foundation, which requests “the safety of the animal”.
The sequence of barely a few seconds, broadcast this Tuesday, August 30 in the evening by the French rapper Timal, caused a wave of indignation on social networks. The 25-year-old artist – who has collaborated with rappers Booba, Jul and Heuss l’Enfoiré – posted a video on his Snapchat account in which he hits and insults his dog.
Call for a boycott and reporting of 30 Million Friends
Kicks that deeply shocked some of his fans, some of whom decided to boycott the artist. “You are Timal, are you known, do you hunt your dog in Story? The IQ is close to 0, lock him up, deserved boycott”, could we read this Wednesday on social networks.
The 30 Million Friends Foundation quickly indicated that it had denounced the video to the Pharos platform, created in 2009 to report illegal online content and behavior by the national police and the gendarmes. A complaint has also been filed by the association, which requests “the safety of the animal”.
In France, penalties for animal abuse can go up to 3 years in prison and a fine of 45,000 euros.
