French clubs are not spared by UEFA. As announced several weeks ago, the club financial control body has decided to sanction AS Monaco, Olympique de Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain. The three teams exceeded the deficit of 30 million euros over three accounting years authorized by the body. Paris Saint-Germain is the most severely impacted club. Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and his family are fined 65 million euros, including 10 million euros firm that they must pay immediately. OM and AS Monaco are doing better with a fine of 2 million euros, including 300,000 firm. The teams now have three years to comply with the regulations under penalty of more severe sanctions such as exclusion from European cups.
