The daily life of the residents of the seaside resort of Mimizan, in the Landes, has been disturbed for several months by a real invasion of wild boars which, at nightfall, invade the urban areas of the town and do not hesitate to come and search and feed the contents of garbage cans even in the city center. The warming of the climate and the reproduction of the animal all year round have swelled the number of these animals, which knowing that they are protected from hunters in the middle of the dwellings, have taken up residence even in the center of the commune. While their number continues to increase and that of hunters decreases, they colonize the agglomeration with all the health problems and road collisions that this can cause.
