What to expect this Thursday?

In the past, Twitter’s board called on its shareholders to vote in favor of the acquisition. “We are committed to completing the merger at the price and on the terms agreed with Mr. Musk. Your vote at the special meeting is critical to our ability to complete the merger,” Twitter had said in a letter to its shareholders, as AP reports.

It’s a safe bet that shareholders will indeed decide to vote in favor of the deal on Thursday. The transaction, if it took place, would indeed allow the shareholders to realize a substantial capital gain.

What sequels to come?

A trial is scheduled for October 17. It should last five days.
